Did Islam spread with sword?/
क्या इस्लाम तलवार से फैलाया गया?
“Fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world
and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the
most fantastically absurd myth that historians have ever repeated”, says a
noted historian De Lacy O’Leary in his book “Islam at the cross road (Page 8)”.
And if someone says, that Islam teaches
violence and hatred then such a person does not know nothing about Islam.
For Islam is based on the association of a
human being with the Supreme Being. This bond of love between the created and
the Creator is as strong as the one which we have with our parents in general
or even stronger. The Supreme Being is a permanent companion and a sure help in
emergency, if approached aright. But, men often mistake His help for apparent
causes. Islam demands reason and common sense as there no place for mysticism
in its teachings. Despite being strict in its discipline, the
living relation of love and liking between man and the Supreme Being makes
Islam our natural religion of love and mercy.
The present paradox which we are witnessing
today, the dissatisfaction and dejection prevailing in the very midst of riches
and prosperity of the modern world is due to this fact of turning away from
Islam – turning away from our natural urge of associating ourselves with our
Creator.
Professor C.E.M Joad in his book “The Present
and Future of Religion” describes this horrifying situation as he writes about
the west:-
“For the first time in history there is coming
to maturity a generation of men and women who have no religion and feel no need
for one. They are content to ignore it. Also they are very unhappy, and the
suicide rate is abnormally high.”
Today, the highest paid doctors in the United
States of America are the psychiatrists who treat mental illnesses, trying to
cure the internal vision of those who have misused
their external sight and made themselves blind of the next world – the world
that really matters,and in this is a Big Clear Sign for all those who
want to –
Think again…
And whosoever turns away from My (Allah’s)
remembrance, verily for such is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up
blind on the Day of Judgment. (Al-Qur’an Ch. 20 Ver. 124)

"कट्टरपंथी मुसलमानो ने दुनिया भर में फैल कर तलवार के दम पर हारे हुए मुल्कों को इस्लाम के लिए मजबूर किया बेहतरीन बेतुकी बात है जो इतिहासकारों कभी दोहराई हो।" लिखते हैं एक प्रसिद्ध इतिहासकार डी.लेसी.ओ'लेरी अपनी पुस्तक इस्लाम एट क्रोस रोड (पृष्ठ 8) पर।
और अगर कोई ये कहता है, कि इस्लाम हिंसा और नफरत
सिखाता है तो ऐसे व्यक्ति को इस्लाम के बारे में कुछ भी नही पता।
क्यूंकि इस्लाम
ईश्वर के साथ मनुष्य के रिश्ते पर आधारित है। सृष्टि और सृष्टिकर्ता के बीच प्रेम का यह
बंधन उतना ही मज़बूत
है जितना कि हम अपने माता-पिता के साथ सामान्य रूप से रखते हैं या उससे भी
अधिक मज़बूत। ईश्वर एक
स्थायी साथी है और आपातकालीन स्थिति में एक निश्चित मदद है, अगर सही तौर पर देखा जाए, लेकिन लोग अक्सर गलत कारणों के लिए उसकी मदद मांगने की गलती करते हैं। इस्लाम तर्क और ज्ञान की मांग
करता है क्योंकि इसकी शिक्षाओं में रहस्यवाद के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है। अपने अनुशासन में सख्त होने के बावजूद, मनुष्य और
सर्वशक्तिमान
के बीच प्यार और विश्वास का यह रिश्ता इस्लाम को प्यार और दया का हमारा स्वाभाविक धर्म बनाता है।
वर्तमान की विडंबना जो आज हम देख रहे हैं,
आधुनिक दुनिया में
धन और समृद्धि के बीच व्याप्त असंतोष। यह असंतोष इस्लाम से
दूर होने के कारण है - अपने निर्माता के साथ खुद को जोड़ने के हमारे प्राकृतिक
आग्रह से दूर होने के कारण।
प्रोफेसर सी.ई.एम.जौड अपनी पुस्तक "द प्रेजेंट एंड
फ्यूचर ऑफ रिलिजन" में इस भयावह स्थिति का वर्णन करते हुए, पश्चिम के बारे में लिखते हैं: -
“इतिहास में पहली बार ऐसे पुरुषों और महिलाओं की एक पीढ़ी आ रही है जिनका
कोई धर्म नहीं है और उन्हें इसकी आवश्यकता भी नहीं है। वे इसे अनदेखा करने में संतुष्ट हैं। साथ ही वे बहुत दुखी हैं, और उनमें आत्महत्या का दर असामान्य रूप से अधिक है।"
आज, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में सबसे अधिक वेतन पाने वाले डॉक्टर
मनोचिकित्सक हैं जो मानसिक बीमारियों का इलाज करते हैं, उन लोगों की अंदर की आँखों को ठीक करने की कोशिश करते हैं जिन्होंने अपनी बाहरी दृष्टि का दुरुपयोग
किया और खुद को आगे आने वाली दुनिया से अंधा बना लिया – वो दुनिया जो वास्तव में मायने रखती है,
और यह उन सभी के लिए एक बड़ा स्पष्ट संकेत
है जो चाहते हैं -
फिर से विचार करना…
और जो कोई भी मेरी (अल्लाह की) याद से दूर हो जाता है, उसके लिए एक तांग ज़िन्दगी है, और हम उसे क़यामत के दिन अंधा उठाएंगे। (अल-कुरान सूरा 20 आयात
