Jesus came for a Sword? ईसा तलवार के लिए आये थे? मनुष्य मूल रूप से शुद्ध बनाया गया था। एक पैग़म्बर की आवश्यकता तब होती है जब कुछ भ्रष्टाचार और पाप होता है, जिससे उसे युद्ध करने के लिए भेजा जाता है। उसके आने का मतलब बहुत परीक्षण और पीड़ा होता है; विशेष रूप से उन लोगों के लिए जो गलत के विरोध उसका साथ देतें हैं। ईसा ( शांती हो उन पर ) जैसे एक शांतिपूर्ण नबी ने भी कहा: "मैं शांति के लिए नहीं बल्कि तलवार के लिए भेजा गया हूँ।" (Matt.x.34) एक पैग़म्बर इसलिए भी आता है कि उन सभी रूहानी रहस्यों के बारे में गवाही दे जो अज्ञानता या अंधविश्वासों से अस्पष्ट हो गए हैं, या सांप्रदायिक विवाद की धूल में खो गए हैं।   वह एक नया धर्म या संप्रदाय स्थापित करने के लिए नहीं आता। वह धर्म सिखाने आता है। वह भगवान के सामने इस पर भी गवाह है कि मनुष्यों ने भगवान का संदेश किस प्रकार लिया। वह खुशखबरी या भगवान की रहमत की अच्छी खबर के वाहक के रूप में आता है। इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि इंसान गुनाह में कितना दूर जा चुका हो या खुद पर कितना ज़ुल्म कर बै...
