How to conquer Time?
All history shows that Evil came to an evil end and time is
always in favour of those live clean and pure lives and know how to wait in
patience and constancy having faith in God and His messengers.
Time through the ages bear witness that nothing remains
except Good deeds and teachings of Truth. If he is going to waste or misuse
life, Man against time is in loss.
In the Qurán an appeal is made with respect to Time as one
of the creations of Allah, of which everyone knows something but of which no
one can fully explain the exact significance.
If life is considered to be a business bargain, Man by
merely accumulating material wealth or gains, will lose. When he makes up his
account, it will show a loss. It will only show a profit if he obeys God
and follow His messengers, leads a good life, and contributes to society by
directing and encouraging other people on the path of Truth and constancy.
If he lived only for himself, he would not fulfil his whole
duty. Whatever good he has, especially in moral and spiritual life, he must
spread among others, so that they may see the Truth and stand by it in patient
hope and unshaken constancy through all the storms and stress of the outer
life. For he, and they will then have attained peace within.
Faith is his armour, which wards off the wounds of the
material world, and his righteous life is a positive contribution towards his
spiritual advancement.
If we merely run a race against Time, we will lose
because Time is searching out and destroying everything material – it is
the spiritual part of us that conquers Time.
Think again...
By (the) Time, Verily Man is in loss, Except those who
believe (in Islam) and
do righteous deeds, and recommend one another to the Truth (i.e. order one
another to perform all kinds of good deeds which Allah has ordained, and
abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allah has forbidden), and
recommend one another to Patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries
which one may encounter in Allah’s Cause during practicing and preaching His
religion). Al-Qurán Sura. 103 Ayat. 1-3
