Jesus came for a Sword?

Jesus came for a Sword?

Jesus came for a Sword?

Man was originally created pure. The need of a prophet arises when there is some corruption and iniquity, which the prophet is sent to combat. His coming means much trials and sufferings; especially to those who join him in protest against wrong. Even so peaceful a prophet as Jesus (peace be upon him) said: “I come not to send peace but a sword” (Matt.x.34).

A prophet also comes as a Witness to all men about the spiritual truths which had been blocked or obscured by ignorance or superstitions, or by the dust of sectarian controversy. He did not come to establish a new religion or sect. He came to teach religion. He is also a witness to God about how men received the message of God.

He comes as a bearer of glad tidings or good news of the Mercy of God. No matter how far men have transgressed or wronged themselves, they have hope if they believe, repent, and live a good life.

He also comes as a Warner to those who does not care or are heedless. This life will not last. There is a Future life, and that is all important.

He comes as one who has a right to invite all men to repentance and forgiveness of sins; but he does this not of his own authority but by the permission and authority given to him by God; lest we should think that the prophet has any power to forgive sins or will bear anybody’s burden, the personal responsibility of each individual remains and sins can only be forgiven by God’s Grace.

The prophet also comes as a light or a lamp to illuminate the whole world. When the sun appears, all the lesser lights pale off, similarly when a prophet arrives all the false customs and superstitions practiced in the name of religions fade away. He leads mankind out from the darkness of ignorance to the purest lights of truth and knowledge.

The Message of God (Qur’an)  – The light of Islam – of the One and Only Universal religion is the biggest bounty possible for mankind, if we truly want to understand and

Think again…

O Prophet (Muhammad)! Truly We have sent you as a Witness, and a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and a Warner – And as one who invites to Allah’s (Grace) by His leave, and as a Lamp spreading Light. (Al-Qur’aan Sura. 33 Ayat. 45-46)

How to conquer Time?

How to conquer Time? All history shows that Evil came to an evil end and time is always in favour of those live clean and pure lives and know how to wait in patience and constancy having faith in God and His messengers. Time through the ages bear witness that nothing remains except Good deeds and teachings of Truth. If he is going to waste or misuse life, Man against time is in loss. In the Qurán an appeal is made with respect to Time as one of the creations of Allah, of which everyone knows something but of which no one can fully explain the exact significance. If life is considered to be a business bargain, Man by merely accumulating material wealth or gains, will lose. When he makes up his account, it will show a loss. It will only show a profit if he obeys God and follow His messengers, leads a good life, and contributes to society by directing and encouraging other people on the path of Truth and constancy. If he lived only for himself, ...

What was the message of Jesus..?

What was the message of Jesus..? If there would have been more than one master of this universe, then there would surely have been great crisis. But, we don ’ t see any crisis around us, in fact there is such a perfect harmony behind all the forces of nature that no reasonable mind can fail to see behind all creation one single and all powerful Command of one single and all powerful Creator. Therefore, reason refuses to accept the idea of conflicting gods, and points towards the Unifying command in creation indicating the Unity of the Creator. This is not only the message of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) but the message of all the Prophets who came before him. The message given to every Prophet in all ages was to believe in One and Only God confirming with the fundamental basis of creation on which this universe runs. They never say anything before they receive Allah ’ s commands to say it, and their acts are conditioned accordingly. This is also the teac...

Islamization of Education --(TEACHER'S MANUAL)  By Dr. Bilal Philips The topic of Islamization of Education has been under discussion for almost the last 40 years. It can bedated back to at least the 20th century, where educators from various parts of the world gathered in Makkah in the 70s, and analyzed the problems. Muslims were facing with regards to Education. They looked at the existing models and discussed Islamic requirements, and they wrote about the need for Islamization of knowledge as it is conveyed in the educational institutions. In fact, they virtually wrote an encyclopedia on the topic at hand. Since that time, a number of Islamic schools have arisen in Muslim countries.. Education is primarily the responsibility of parents, it is primarily the responsibility of the Muslim parents to educate their Muslim children. The early scholars of the past, whether Imam Malik, Shafi’ee or Sufyaan Ath-Thawree ,talked about their mothers and not particular schools....

How a Muslim accepted Islam..!

How a Muslim accepted Islam..! Bought up in India under the mix influence of Hindu-Christian culture, celebrating Birthdays, New years, Christmas, Diwali as well as Eid and Bakra-Eid while going for prayer to Jumma Masjid every Friday with my father. Although born in a Muslim family, by the time I finished my graduation I was totally unaware of what Islam is, not knowing even the meaning of word Islam itself. But one day, one of my father’s friends forgot a copy of the Quran with English translation in our home and I started reading it. I myself didn’t know that what is going to happen after that. When I studied the Quran with open eyes it was a new world altogether, the spell of all that I had read in my school and college days were cast asunder. It was like wandering in ignorance up till now and the real roots of knowledge seemed to be found. By the Grace of Allah, I was from the world of falsehood into the world of truth – from doubt...

DO WE HAVE FREE WILL OR NOT ? WHAT IS PREDESTINATION (QADAA AND QADAR) ?

Qadar Qadar is an Arabic word, meaning predestination or “divine fore ordainment”. It is one of the sixth pillar of faith, along with faith in unanimity of Allah, the revealed scriptures, the prophets, the days of resurrection, and archangels. Note that  what’s  meant by belief in Q ada’ (   the Divine will) is , sure  belief that everything that happens  in this   universe happens by  will  and decree of Allah . Belief in Q adar (   the Divine decree   )  is the   important pillar  of faith , and no one’s  faith is complete  without   it. In Saheeh Muslim (8)  it is  narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (   may Allah be  pleased  with him   )  heard that some  folks  were denying Q adar. He said ,  “If I  me et these  folks,   I will  tell them that  I have  nothing  to do with them   and that they have nothing   ...
