Once there was a wealthy man, he had wealth and was not short of anything. Many times at 2 or 3 o’clock in the morning his eyes would open and some business plan would comes in his mind. From this time he cannot close his eyes – his mind is busy devising schemes to realize this plan. Most of the times the plan works and he has the money in his hand, but then he would ask himself, “What is the pleasure in this..? Was it worth to sacrifice my sleep? Yes, the plan was successful but then why there is still some emptiness inside me, as if I am not satisfied; not content with what I have…!!
Gautama Buddha, who was facing this same dilemma in the midst of all the riches and pleasures of his time, left his palace to find an answer to this question.

When this inordinate desire monopolies the attention of the masses, it gradually spreads like a disease without being noticed, but causing great harm.
Not only drying the streams of Charity for others but it also starts distracting the people around by its craze for amusement or gain, leaving no room for higher things in life and people get engrossed in these things until death approaches them, and when looked back; it is a life wasted, a life without purpose, a life without aim and then there remains no time to
Think again…
The mutual rivalry diverts you, Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). No! You shall come to know! No Again! You shall soon come to know! No! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things). Yes! You will see the blazing Fire (Hell)! Yes Again! You will see it with certainty of your sight! Then on that Day you shall be questioned about the delights (you indulged in, in this world)! Al-Qur’aan Ch.102 Ver. 1-8
