Can Money Buy Happiness ?

Is every wealthy man – a happy man ? can money buy happiness ?

can money buy happiness

Once there was a wealthy man, he had wealth and was not short of anything. Many times at 2 or 3 o’clock in the morning his eyes would open and some business plan would comes in his mind. From this time he cannot close his eyes – his mind is busy devising schemes to realize this plan. Most of the times the plan works and he has the money in his hand, but then he would ask himself, “What is the pleasure in this..? Was it worth to sacrifice my sleep? Yes, the plan was successful but then why there is still some emptiness inside me, as if I am not satisfied; not content with what I have…!!

Gautama Buddha, who was facing this same dilemma in the midst of all the riches and pleasures of his time, left his palace to find an answer to this question.

Prosperity is not to be measured by wealth or worldly gains. There is a higher prosperity -the health of the mind and of the Soul.

Generally we feel that money is a blessing, but this not a general rule. The suicide of Famous Hollywood actor comedian Robin Williams is the latest example of this. For many at times wealth actually becomes a burden, a punishment and a mean of retrogression instead of progress.

We see this happening all around us that a man sees it (wealth in abundance) and gets happy and excited. But the excitement doesn’t stop here – it goes on to produce negative consequences.

When the love of wealth intensifies it declines with difficultly, as it gets aggravated and reaches up to the extent that all the interest is shown in wealth alone and a person does not pay due importance to any religious or worldly affairs, except how to  increase his wealth. This makes him uneasy and disturbed all the time.

A sign of this mad passion for wealth is a dog who is always hanging its tongue out, always thirsty and always is such a man piling up wealth, not for use and service of those who need it, but in miserly hoards, as if such hoards can prolong the miser’s life or give him immortality.

When this inordinate desire monopolies the attention of the masses, it gradually spreads like a disease without being noticed, but causing great harm.

Not only drying the streams of Charity for others but it also starts distracting the people around by its craze for amusement or gain, leaving no room for higher things in life and people get engrossed in these things until death approaches them, and when looked back; it is a life wasted, a life without purpose, a life without aim and then there remains no time to

Think again…

The mutual rivalry diverts you, Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die). No! You shall come to know! No Again! You shall soon come to know! No! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have occupied yourselves in worldly things). Yes! You will see the blazing Fire (Hell)! Yes Again! You will see it with certainty of your sight! Then on that Day you shall be questioned about the delights (you indulged in, in this world)! Al-Qur’aan Ch.102 Ver. 1-8

DO WE HAVE FREE WILL OR NOT ? WHAT IS PREDESTINATION (QADAA AND QADAR) ?

Qadar Qadar is an Arabic word, meaning predestination or “divine fore ordainment”. It is one of the sixth pillar of faith, along with faith in unanimity of Allah, the revealed scriptures, the prophets, the days of resurrection, and archangels. Note that  what’s  meant by belief in Q ada’ (   the Divine will) is , sure  belief that everything that happens  in this   universe happens by  will  and decree of Allah . Belief in Q adar (   the Divine decree   )  is the   important pillar  of faith , and no one’s  faith is complete  without   it. In Saheeh Muslim (8)  it is  narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (   may Allah be  pleased  with him   )  heard that some  folks  were denying Q adar. He said ,  “If I  me et these  folks,   I will  tell them that  I have  nothing  to do with them   and that they have nothing   ...

How idol worship started..??/
