What does La-ilaha-ill-allah means?/ला-ईलाहा-ईल्लाह का क्या अर्थ है?

Almost all the Muslims around the world are spending a huge amount of their Money, time and efforts for spreading this slogan “LA-ILAHA-ILL-ALLAH” to all of mankind. More than a billion people are there behind it, but what does it means?

The slogan of Islam “LA-ILAHA-ILL-ALLAH” means that in the whole universe, there is absolutely no being worthy to be worshiped except One (ALLAH); that it is only to Him the heads should bow in submission and adoration. Only He possesses all the Strength and we are all in need of His favour and help. He is free from the boundaries of time and space and His Powers are beyond the limited conception of human mind.

In fact, the word “KHUDA” in Persian, “DEVA” in Hindi, and “ILAY” in Sanskrit is used for this One All – Powerful GOD. “ILAY” is used in Vedas for the one who is worthy of worship. For example in vedmentra Rigved 1/1/2 the meaning of which is, “ilay, you deserve the worship of all coming before and after or small and big; those who are wise can understand you”.

In every age man recognized this only deity and worshipped Him, because neither man nor his nature has total power. We are not self – sufficient nor self – existing; neither our powers are limitless. In fact, we are very weak, frail, needy and destitute.

There are many things injurious to us; accidents destroy our whole life’s works and efforts in a single moment, thus bringing our hopes to a sudden end; illness, worries and calamities are always threatening us and barring our way to happiness and we attempt to get rid of them while meeting with both success and failure.

The Sun, the Moon, the Stars in their constant motions – how great, powerful and grand these bodies are, and, in contrast to them, how frail and insignificant we are..!! With what a wonderful harmony countless different forces are working jointly.  And what a highly effective and supremely wise law it is, according to which all the various causes in the Universe are made to work together at an appointed time to produce an appointed event.

Observing this uniformity, regularity and complete obedience to one great law in all the fields of Nature, we find that there must be One and Only deity – One and Only GOD, Who is exercising supreme authority over everything, for if there were separate, independent deities, the whole machinery of this Universe would have been upset.

Think again…

Had there been gods besides Allah, then verily both (heavens and earth) would have been ruined. Glorified is Allah, the Lord of the Throne, (High is He) above all that (evil of associating partners) they attribute to Him. [Al-Qur’an Ch.21 Ver. 22]

ला-ईलाहा-ईल्लाह का क्या अर्थ है?

दुनिया भर में सैकड़ों मुसलमान अपना वक़्त, दौलत और मेहनत लगा रहे हैं इस नारे "ला-ईलाह-ईल्लाह" को  पूरी मानवजाति तक पहुचाने के लिए। एक अरब से अधिक लोग इसके पीछे हैं, लेकिन इसका मतलब क्या है?

इस्लाम का नारा "ला-ईलाह-ईल्लाह" का अर्थ है कि पूरे ब्रह्मांड का केवल एक ही ईशवर है जिसके अलावा और कोई पूजा करने के योग्य नहीं है; केवल प्रमुख उसी के आगे अधीनता और प्रशंसा से सर झुकना चाहिये। केवल उसके पास ही पूरी ताकत है और हम सभी को उसके एहसान और मदद की जरूरत है। वह समय और स्थान की सीमाओं से मुक्त है और उसकी शक्तियां मानव मस्तिष्क की सीमित अवधारणा से परे हैं।

वास्तव में, फ़ारसी में “ख़ुदा”, हिंदी में “देवा”, और संस्कृत में “इलय” शब्द का उपयोग उसी एक अखिल शक्तिशाली भगवान के लिए प्रियोग होता है। “इलय” शब्द का उपयोग वेदों में उसके लिये इस्तिमाल हुआ है जो पूजा के योग्य हो। उदाहरण के लिए वेदमन्त्र ऋग्वेद 1/1/2 में जिसका अर्थ है, “इलय, आप पहले और बाद आने वाले और छोटे और बड़े सभी के पूजन के योग्य हैं; जो समझदार हैं वे आपको समझ सकते हैं"।

हर युग में मनुष्य ने उसे पहचाना और उसकी पूजा की, क्योंकि न तो मनुष्य और न ही उसके स्वभाव में सम्पूर्ण शक्ति है। हम सर्वशक्तिमान नहीं हैं और न ही हमेशा ज़िंदा रहने वाले हैं और न ही हमारी शक्तियाँ असीमीत हैं। वास्तव में, हम बहुत कमजोर, जरूरतमंद और लाचार हैं।

बहुत सी चीजें हमे नुकसान पोह्चाने वाली हैं; दुर्घटनाएँ एक ही पल में हमारे पूरे जीवन के कार्यों और प्रयासों को रोक देती हैं और हमारी आशाओं को अचानक नष्ट कर देती हैं; बीमारी, चिंताएँ और विपत्तियाँ हमेशा हमें धमकाती रहती हैं और खुशी के लिए हमारे रास्ते में रुकावट बनती रहती हैं और इनसे हम सफलता और विफलता दोनों के साथ छुटकारा पाने का प्रयास करते रहते हैं।

सूर्य, चंद्रमा, तारे अपने निरंतर दायरों में घूम रहे हैं- ये कितने महान, शक्तिशाली और भव्य हैं, और, इसके विपरीत, हम कितने कमज़ोर और तुच्छ हैं .. !! क्या अद्भुत संयोग के साथ अनगिनत विभिन्न शक्तियां संयुक्त रूप से काम कर रहीँ हैं और क्या ही अत्यंत प्रभावी और सर्वोच्च कानून है, जिसके अनुसार ब्रह्मांड की सभी विभिन्न गतिविधियां एक निर्धारित नियुक्त समय पर एक साथ काम करतीं हैं, एक निर्धारित नियुक्त घटना को अंजाम देने के लिये।

प्रकृति के सभी क्षेत्रों में एक महान कानून की इस एकरूपता, नियमितता और पूरी आज्ञाकारिता का अवलोकन करने बाद, हम केवल एक ही नतीजे पर पहुँच सकते हैं कि इस सारी रचना का एक और केवल एक ही रचनाकर्ता हो सकता है - एक और केवल एक भगवान, जिसका हर चीज पर सर्वोच्च अधिकार है, क्यूंकि अगर कई अलग-अलग और स्वतंत्र भगवान होते, तो इस ब्रह्मांड की पूरी कार्येशेली कब की अस्त-व्यस्त हो गई होती,

एक बार फिर सोचें…

ज़मीन-ओ-आसमान में अगर अल्लाह के अलावा और ख़ुदा होते, तो वास्तव में दोनों कब के बर्बाद हो गए होते। बुलंद है अल्लाह, अर्श का मालिक, तो जो बातें ये लोग अपने जी से (उसके साथी होने के बारे में) घड़तें हैं उन तमाम ऐबों से वो पाक व पाकीज़ा है। (अल-क़ुरआन सूरा 21 आयात 22)
