How can God ever punish us?/भगवान कभी हमें कैसे सज़ा दे सकते हैं?

How can God ever punish us?/भगवान कभी हमें कैसे सज़ा दे सकते हैं?

How is it possible that God can punish man – the one on which He bestows so many Blessings, Grace and Mercy. The one for which everything in the Universe is made subservient – the one to whom He loves so dearly. Yes, why God will ever want to punish us? What will He get by throwing is His own Creation into the fire of Hell?

True, God is not intent on punishment but He created us virtuous and pure, He gave us intelligence and knowledge, He also surrounds us with all sorts of instruments of Grace and Mercy. If in spite of all this, instead of giving thanks and gratitude by doing what He wants us to do, which is also for our own benefit; we distort our own nature and go against the Will of God. Yet, His forgiveness is open to us if we will take it.

It is only when we have made our own sight blind and changed our soul away from the beautiful pattern in which He formed it, that His Wrath will descend on us and the favourable position in which He has placed us, above the rest of His creation, will be changed.

None of the things on which we relied upon – other than the One and Only True God can possibly protect us from the consequences of our bad deeds. The punishment of Hell is due to our own actions and not due to the Will of God and once it comes then there will be no time left to turn back or to

Think again…

Verily, never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change themselves. But when Allah Wills a people’s punishment, there can be no turning back of it, nor will they find besides Him, any to protect. (Al-Qur’aan Sura. 13 Ayat. 11)
