How are we different from Angels.??/

How are we different from the Angels.??

One may admit that Obedience to God, love, compassion, truth, and other good qualities are all that we need so Why were these virtues not simply programmed into us. And why were we not put into paradise from the start?

Well our parents Adam and Eve (may peace be upon them) were placed there in the beginning as stated in the Qur’an but they failed at the very first chance and also: if programmed, is not a true virtue; it is always something less. You can program a computer to never make an incorrect statement, but it will not thereby become a truthful computer, nor does a CAT scanner posses compassion, although it is made to help the sick.

Disobedience to God by them was surly one of the gravest sins, but to have done that and known the terrible loss and emptiness, to have been crippled by that error and then to have found faith, is an extremely valuable experience; for the consequences of the rejection of God has now became more than a warning – it has become an internalized lesson.

Thus, our life is a continuous process of growth and decay. Although God presents us with innumerable opportunities to receive guidance out here, He also allows us to error. It’s by this trial and error, and realizing and rising above our mistakes, that we learn and progress to higher levels of goodness. In this way, error realised and keeping away from it while having a capacity to do it, leads us to a higher state.

The Qur’an presents angels as always obedient beings, while man is a potentially much greater and alternatively much worse creature. This brings out an essential component of man’s creation; Intellect, the tool for weighing the consequences of one’s choices and learning from them.

Hence, we grow in virtue, wisdom, righteousness, concern and love of our fellow men, patience and generosity through our personal striving and by developing such attributes, we simultaneously grow in our ability to receive and experience God’s mercy, forgiveness, compassion, justice and love. In this way, unlike the angels, we are increasing in nearness to God.

Therefore, the principal beneficiary of our seeking guidance and of our good deeds, as well as the primary victim of our evil acts – is none but us. If we are good, we will experience extreme joy and well-being. If we are essentially evil, then ours will be terrible loss and sufferings. Just as there are differing levels of piety and goodness, wrong-doing and evil, so do there are varied levels of Heaven and Hell.

As the growth of the foetus in the mother’s womb decidedly affects the next stage of its existence, our moral-spiritual evolution in this life is bound to be inseparable of our condition in the next because, with great potential for growth and happiness comes parallel danger of moral decay and sufferings.

But, it is God’s goodness to give man all these privileges, and man must shoulder all the duties that go with them; he must understand that with great honour comes great responsibilities.

Think again..

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and prayer?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise."

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you conceal."(Al-Qur’an Ch.2 Ver.30-33)

Jesus came for a Sword?

Jesus came for a Sword?

Islamic Quotes About Life

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said There are 02 among my nation who have unbelief residing in their heart those who taunt over lineage and  those who beat themselves over the dead ( in mourning ).......Muslim There fore when guidance come to you from me , then whosoever followed the guidance will not go unguided and and will not lose his way , nor fall into misery. Did Islam spread with sword?/ क्या इस्लाम तलवार से फैलाया गया?

Did Islam spread with sword?/ क्या इस्लाम तलवार से फैलाया गया? “Fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myth that historians have ever repeated”,   says a noted historian De Lacy O’Leary in his book “Islam at the cross road (Page 8)”. And if someone says, that Islam teaches violence and hatred then such a person does not know nothing about Islam. For Islam is based on the association of a human being with the Supreme Being. This bond of love between the created and the Creator is as strong as the one which we have with our parents in general or even stronger. The Supreme Being is a permanent companion and a sure help in emergency, if approached aright. But, men often mistake His help for apparent causes. Islam demands reason and common sense as there no place for mysticism in its teachings.   Despite being strict in its discipline, the living rela...

How to understand the Quran

How to understand the Quran? To appreciate the Quran fully one must take it up and launch into the task of calling people to God, making it one’s guide at every stage. Then and only then, does one meet the various experiences encountered at the time of its revelation. One experiences the initial rejection of its message, as was done by the city of Makkah. One comes face to face with Abu Jahl and Abu Lahab – (the enemies) as well as with Abu Bakr and Hamza (the friends) of Allah. A man can neither understand the laws, nor the moral teachings, and the economic and political principles of the Quran, unless he tries to implement them in his own life. Hence, the individual who fails to implement this book into personal practice will fail to understand it. As no other religious scripture present today provides a system of governance in the society except the Qurán, it is an only divine book which gives a perfect code of social governance, on individual as well as collective lev...
